Most industrial pump designs have evolved to utilize complicated features to handle solids or debris in wastewater or slurry applications. But pumping doesn’t need to be complicated, and in fact, it shouldn’t be! Pitbull Pump’s innovative Submersible pump technology leverages the fundamental concept that simplicity always works best. The Pitbull Pump consists of a hollow chamber and 2 check valves, with no impellers, diaphragms, or seals, and no electric motor. Its pumping power comes from compressed air acting directly on the liquid as the motive force. During the inflow cycle, liquid is drawn into the hollow chamber, then to complete the outflow cycle, compressed air discharges the liquid. Liquid flows through the intake check valve and is then pushed through the outflow check valve, and these two are the pump’s only moving parts. The Pitbull Pump is constructed of highly durable and heavy-duty materials, giving the pump a long lifespan and extremely low maintenance requirements.
Achieving simplicity in design is not easy. But we’ve cracked the code when it comes to Submersible pump technology.
